Paul Marshall

Paul is the Principal Physiotherapist and is a director of Coastal Physiotherapy.

Paul qualified with a B.Sc(Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom in 1996. Since then Paul has worked as a physiotherapist in the UK, Canada and Australia. After initial experience in the UK National Health service, Paul moved to the private sector and subsequently worked with professional soccer players in England (Queens Park Rangers Football Club). In Canada Paul treated Olympic figure skaters and elite ice hockey, lacrosse and volleyball players whilst at the renowned Barrie Sports Medicine Clinic. Paul has undertaken regular post graduate training and is a specialist in Soft Tissue Release and is also qualified in Dry Needling (western acupuncture).  Over his years as Principal Physiotherapist, Paul has developed a strong client following.

Nicole Marshall

Nicole is an Occupational Therapist and is a director of Coastal Physiotherapy.

Nicole graduated from the University of Queensland in 1997, with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy. Nicole has chosen to specialise in the field of Occupational Rehabilitation and has worked extensively in this area in Queensland, New South Wales and Canada. Canada is largely recognised as one of the world leaders in Occupational Rehabilitation and during her two and a half years there she was able to consolidate and build on her many skills. Nicole has extensive experience in service delivery in the following areas: functional capacity evaluation, worksite assessment, task analysis, manual handling training programs, ergonomic assessment and case management.  During the remainder of her career, Nicole gained experience in hospital and community rehabilitation services.

Timothy Elsmore

Tim Elsmore is a Physiotherapist who joined Coastal Physiotherapy in July 2011.

Timothy Elsmore graduated from Otago University in New Zealand in 2004 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Prior to this he studied Psychology and Sports Science at Massey University (NZ). Tim initially worked in a hospital setting within New South Wales and Queensland Health for several years, prior to choosing to specialise in private practice in 2008. Tim is an experienced multi-sport athlete and uses this experience within his work history treating sporting teams as well as individual athletes. Tim’s areas of clinical interest are sports physiotherapy, musculoskeletal health and respiratory physiotherapy. Tim is looking forward to making the most of his move to the Sunshine Coast and enjoying the coastal lifestyle, particularly pursuing his interest in surf life saving.

Kerry Hartwig

Kerry is a Massage Therapist at Coastal Physiotherapy and holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage and is qualified to perform Deep Tissue, Pregnancy massage, Trigger Point, Lymphatic Drainage and Sports Massage treatments.

Tiffany Xavier

Tiffany is a massage therapist who qualified with a Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2004. She has gained extensive experience working in large massage clinics and working as a therapist in physiotherapy practices. Tiffany has treated many high profile sporting identities during her career (including rugby, triathletes, runners and swimmers) as well as working with entertainers such as the Wiggles crew! Tiffany is passionate about postural alignment to maintain a healthy body, and believes remedial massage is the key to a pain free life.

Veronica Johnston

Veronica is a Massage Therapist at Coastal Physiotherapy. Veronica has worked as a massage therapist since 1997 and has obtained an Advanced Diploma of Remedial and Sports Massage Therapy.

Veronica has gained knowledge and experience in the areas of Remedial, Sports, Pregnancy and Lymphatic Drainage Massage.

Leanne Clarke

Leanne is employed with Coastal Physiotherapy as a part-time receptionist.

Dianne Tunney

Dianne is employed with Coastal Physiotherapy as a part-time receptionist, and holds a Certificate III Qualification in Business Administration.
